Vantage Specialty Chemicals has announced the appointment of Richard McEvoy as the new chief executive officer of Vantage Specialty Chemicals. In his new role, he will oversee all units of Vantage, including Personal Care, Performance Materials, and Oleo Chemicals.
Prior to joining Vantage, McEvoy spent 26 years in the specialty chemicals industry with companies within Unilever, SC Johnson and most recently Sealed Air.
“McEvoy brings deep multi-functional and international experience and I am looking forward to having such a strong leader for the team, with his direction we will be able to accelerate the growth of our business,” said Patrick Brueggman, SVP & GM of Vantage Personal Care.
