Illuminating skin

Interest in products that help our skin glow has increased in recent years and is expected to go on increasing. IMCD offers new innovative ingredients to boost skin luminosity.

Photochromic pigments are available from Yamaguchi Mica Co Ltd. The colour of these pigments, Photolite series,  varies with UV light. They seem darker in sunlight and give a more natural colour outside. Grant industries' Granpowder Lumiere DP is another interesting light responding powder. The micron sized polymethylsilsesquioxane spherical powder enriched with an entrapped photo luminescent diamond powder feels delightful as well as disguising fine lines.

Grant industries offers also active blends designed to improve skin structure and so help skin become more radiant. Their blends, Granactive AR-1423, (Aspalathus Linearis Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Mel,  Boswellia Serrata Extract and Tetrapeptide-14), and Granactive 1518, (Morus Alba Root Extract, Resveratrol, Scutellaria Lateriflora Extract, Hydrangea Arborescens Root Extract and Pentapeptide-21) combine peptides with botanical actives that together encourage skin to be firmer and recover its natural lustre.

IMCD's technical experts can help formulators to formulate exciting and innovative products, with these or many other products from IMCD's offering.
