Skin Softening Butter

Seaton's, the vegetable oil supply subsidiary of speciality chemicals group Croda International, has launched Seaton's Illipe Butter (INCI - Shorea Stenoptera Seed Butter). Incorporated into sckin creams, the product will improve the elasticity of the skin through its moisturising properties.

Beauty and wellbeing promoted naturally

Cognis Care Chemicals and its active ingredients business Laboratoires Sérobiologiques (LS) will both be contributing to the debate around this year’s IFSCC (International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists) Conference theme of “world wide wellness”. Longer lasting moisturising effects

To meet the needs of skin care product manufacturers, Laboratoires Sérobiologiques (LS), the active ingredient business of Cognis Care Chemicals, has developed PA Reviviscence LS 9562, a long-lasting moisturiser based on an extract of Myrothamnus flabellifolia, a plant from the desert areas in South Africa.

Caring ingredient offers hand protection

ProSina from Croda Personal Care is a new hand and nail care ingredient based on hydrolysed keratin. With proven efficacy in the treatment and protection of hands and nails, the product differs from most other keratins in its unusually high cystine content in the active S-sulpho form, the company claims.

Treatt to distribute tea tree oil

Treatt plc of the UK has been appointed distributor for Melaleuca Plantations of Bungawalbyn Pty Ltd, New South Wales, Australia, to supply its tea tree oil. The agreement covers the UK and the rest of the world except Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Greece, Turkey and the USA.
