Patrick Foley, Co-Founder and President
Patrick Foley is President and Co-Founder of P2 Science, where he has invented, patented, and commercialized multiple platform technologies in renewable and sustainable chemistry, with more than 65 granted patents to date. This resulted in the successful installation of a full-scale manufacturing facility in Naugatuck, CT, which has demonstrated 2 first-of-kind reactor technologies and led to multiple successful product launches in flavors, fragrances, and personal care. Patrick earned a B.S. in Molecular Biology from the University of Connecticut. Patrick then went on to earn an M.A., M.Ph., and Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Yale University.
Kate Drummond, VP of Marketing and Business Development
Kate Drummond leads marketing strategy and execution for the Citropol line of polymers for beauty, as well as identifying new applications for this novel polymer chemistry in other markets. With nine years at BASF Corporation in a variety of roles and industries, most recently heading marketing for the North America Personal Care business, Kate brings a strong background in innovation management, product launch, and strategy. Prior to earning her MBA at the University of Michigan, Kate worked in non-profit environmental advocacy and government relations
Ashley Oblon, Applications Lab Manager
Ashley Oblon is a formulation chemist with six years of experience in the personal care industry. She possesses a comprehensive skill set earned through hands-on work in various facets of product development. Her expertise spans from creating batches and formulating products from scratch to troubleshooting and stabilizing formulations. She has cultivated a deep understanding of choosing proper raw materials to impart specific benefits and constantly stays up to date with market trends to innovate and meet consumer demands.
