US-based cosmetic ingredient distributor Caribbean Natural Products has appointed Francesca Muia as its vice president of sales and marketing.
Muia has been in the personal care industry for over 20 years in lead marketing roles engaged in product development and commercialization.
Her previous role was global vice-president of OnScent’s natural cosmetics division, where she oversaw the company’s sustainable, traceable and ethically sourced ingredient portfolio for the cosmetics and personal care market.
Muia, who has also worked for Premier Specialties, Solvay Lonza and Arch Chemicals, has presented at exhibitions including in-cosmetics, SCS Formulate in the UK as well as HBA.
She received her MBA in marketing from Rutgers Graduate School of Management.
