The tenth edition of the Making Cosmetics trade show in Milan this November will feature a two-day educational masterclass on sun care.
‘The life of a cosmetic from cradle to cradle - 25 steps to a perfect sunscreen’ is a collaboration between industry associations and institutions such as Cosmetica Italia, Assic, EFfCi, Gruppo-Mapic (Federchimica) , and Istituto Italiano Imballaggio.
22 November will be dedicated to product design, transforming marketing concepts, selecting raw materials considering regulatory limits, certifications, and blacklists.
On 23 November, the focus will be on industrialization, quality control, safety evaluation, efficacy, packaging quality, and more.
“In essence, the conference tells the story of a cosmetic product from its conception to the recycling of its packaging, with the contribution of all the key figures involved in the process,” said a Making Cosmetics spokeswoman.
“They will address critical points, provide suggestions, talk about innovation, and discuss the necessary solutions to create a safe, sustainable, and effective cosmetic product,” she added.
