Symrise has added two experienced cosmetic specialists as senior product managers to the Product Protection Category. Since their recent arrival, Yohanna Sander and Susan Pungitore have been working to advance the area of alternative preservation.
Yohanna Sander has a Master’s degree in International Marketing and Biochemistry and brings 10 years of experience in the cosmetics industry. As global product manager at the French cosmetics and pharmaceutical ingredients group Seppic, she was managing several product portfolios, including anti-ageing ingredients, functionalactive ingredients and hygiene products. Prior to that, Yohanna Sander workedin sales for the cosmetics chain Sephora (owned by the LVMH Group) in Paris.
Susan Pungitore has a Master’s degree in Biology and 13 years of experience in the cosmetics and skin care industry. As a senior researcher at the wet-wipe manufacturer Nice-Pak, she was responsible for the marketing and product development of various antiseptic skin and disinfectant products. Prior to that, she worked at chemical company ISP (currently Ashland) and cosmetics manufacturer Avon. At the latter, she coordinated microbiological tests in research and product development, covering an extensive assortment of cosmetic and personal care formulations.
