Preparation:
In a secondary vessel, add 2 into 1 and start mixing. While 2 dissolved, add 3 with mixing and thoroughly wet it. In a separate vessel, premix 4, 5, 6 and 7 until homogeneous and add them into the secondary vessel. In a main vessel combine 9 through 13 and start heating with mixing to 70°C. Add 14 and 15, and continue mixing until completely dissolved. When this oil phase is at 70°C, add 16, 17, and 18 and mix to homogeneity. Add one third of water phase into the main vessel. Start homogenizing. After a high internal phase emulsion has formed, slowly add the balance of the water phase. Keep homogenized until smooth and homogeneous. Resume center-stir mixing at a moderate rate and start cooling. When cooled to less than 50°C, add 19 and continue mixing. When batch is homogeneous and smooth, add 20. Continue mixing until fully incorporated, replacing any water lost during processing, and then perform final quality assurance checks and package product.
