Preparation:
Procedure: Charge Phase A water into a suitable vessel. Disperse Phase A Veegum into the Butylene Glycol in a separate container. Disperse CMC into the Butylene Glycol and Veegum mixture and mix until uniform. Add the gum dispersion to the Phase A water with propeller mixing. Mix until uniform. Add the remaining Phase A ingredients and mix until uniform. Add Phase B to Phase A with homogenization. Mix until uniform. Begin heating to 72°C. Combine Phase C and heat to 75°C. When both phases are at the proper temperature, add Phase C to the Phase AB and mix well. Maintain a 72°C for 15 minutes. Cool to 40° C. Premix Phase D and add to the batch. Mix until uniform. Cool to 25°C. Store in airtight containers.Notes:
