FIRMING BODY GEL
BASF
Preparation:
Procedure Heat phases A and C at 75°C. Disperse the Cosmedia SP (phase B) under stirring during 20 min in the phase A. When the 2 phases are homogeneous, disperse phase C in phase A+B under stirring. Keep this stirring during 5-10 minutes. Then cool down under moderated stirring until 62-65°C. Then, the emulsion becomes thicker (starting of gel phase, heterogeneous aspect). Cool down quickly at room temperature, under moderated stirring. Around 45°C, the emulsion turns smooth and homogeneous. At T<40°C, introduce phases D, E and F. Adjust pH at 6 if necessary. Final pH = 6.00 – 6.50 Final viscosity (Brk, RVT, RT spindle 6, speed 10) 42 700mPa.s Stability Stable 3 months at RT, 4, -5, 40 and 50°C.
