The Union of Ethical Biotrade (UEBT) signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD).
The MOU, signed by Rik Kutsch Lojenga and Dr Ahmed Djoghlaf, will further enhance the close working relationship between the two organisations and will see them collaborate on goals such as increasing public awareness and promoting business engagement in biodiversity protection. Actions under the MOU will include UEBT providing regular inputs on biodiversity awareness using its annual biodiversity awareness study, the Biodiversity Barometer. In addition, the two organisations will work together to communicate on the value of biodiversity to target groups such as the business community.
