Gransurf 50C is an effective emulsifier for water-in-oil (w/o) emulsions. It is 50% active and uses a special grade of low viscosity dimethicone as the preferred new solvent choice.
It is especially useful in liquid foundations where it assists in dispersing color pigments. Gransurf 50C also functions as a wetting agent for pigments and as a coupling agent for emollients, moisturizers and sunscreens. It is uniquely positioned within the class of widely used formulation aids for water-in-oil (w/o) emulsions and other formulas that contain silicone oils & gels at levels of about 5% -35%.
