Molecular film for skin

Lipotec has launched Peelmoist, a molecular film that fights against dryness and desquamation skin problems. The new product helps to renew old cells from the stratum corneum (SC) through papain, a proteolytic enzyme. Peelmoist prevents rough and dry skin.

Lipotec points out that exfoliation activates circulation, moisturises the skin by eliminating dead cells, and, furthermore, regenerates the epidermis. It provides good protection against external aggressions. The turnover rate of SC takes around 30 days in healthy skin but with ageing this process decreases and skin becomes rough and dry. Dry skin and altered desquamation are connected. An abnormal desquamation leads to a dehydration tendency and skin dryness is able to alter the desquamation process. Consequently, it is essential to moisturise skin after exfoliation.
