On the energy efficiency front, the iLED 3 now requires just 90 W, and the iLED 5 145 W, compared with 125 Wand 195 W previously.
The new TruLight 5500 and 5300 surgical lights offer energy efficiency and lightweight construction. The larger TruLight 5500 reaches 150,000 Lux with only 90 LEDs, and the smaller 5300 reaches 120,000 Lux with 60. The illuminationcylinder is very homogeneous, with a colour reproduction index of 95 for bothmodels, while a new “Adaptive Light Control” features a three-level light intensity regulator for different working heights. The keypad-operated TruLight 5000, with sterile grip in the light housing’s centre, allows easy positioning and adaptation toindividual operating situations. Trumpf now also offers transmission of live images generated by its TruVidia HD – “the first high definition OR light camera”, over LAN or Internet.
