Biesterfeld Spezialchemie will now distribute products from its long-term partner Kao Chemicals Europe in Switzerland, expanding its offering for the personal care and cleaning industry.
The wideranging portfolio includes, among others, alkyl ether carboxylates, which are used as mild co-surfactants, emulsifiers and solubilising agents in both cosmetic and cleaning products. These are marketed under the trade name Akypo. The glycerin polyoxyethylene esters in the Levenol and Emanon product lines are wellestablished as versatile nonionic specialities and can be used in foaming compositions with beneficial labelling. The range is rounded off by sulphates, amine oxides and ester quats.
