Actives receive certification

The Ecocert-certified Alp-Organic range includes high quality standardised extracts of White Genepi (Artemisia AO), Butterfly Bush (Buddleja AO), Hyssop (Hyssopus AO), White Hore Hound (Marrubium AO), Elderflowers (Sambucus AO), Thyme (Thymus AO), Masterwort (Imperatoria AO), Plantain (Plantago AO) as well as the newly developed Mallow extract (Malva AO).

Malva AO has emollient and moisturising properties. Being concentrated in mucilages and polysaccharides, this new extract is especially suitable for soothing products, baby care lines, moisturising and care for sensitive skin. Its recommended concentration is 1-3%.

All plants used by Alpaflor are organically cultivated in the Swiss Alps. The crops are regularly controlled by bio.inspecta in Switzerland and are certified by Bio.Suisse. Alpaflor supports mountain agriculture in the Swiss Valais and ensures sustainable development of local resources.
