Preparation:
Procedure Charge tank with water, charge Rhodacal A-246/L and mix until uniform. Charge Miranol Ultra C-37 and mix until uniform. Charge Salycilic Acid USP mix until completely dissolved. Charge Mirataine CBS adjust the pH with Citric Acid to 3.5 -4.0. Adjust the viscosity up with NaCl or additional Mirataine CBS. If viscosity needs to be adjusted down use Propylene Glycol. Properties Appearance at 25°C: Clear Liquid Viscosity at 25°C: 10,000 cps pH as is @ 25°C: 3.5 – 4.0 Oven Solids: 20% – 25% Active ingredient: 2% Salicylic Acid
