Preparation:
Procedure In a suitable kettle, combine the Phase A ingredients one a time. Mix until all are completely dissolve. When Phase A are completely dissolve, heat to 75°C with a propeller mixer. When Phase A reach the temperature of 75°C, add the Phase B Black Iron Oxide disperse in 50% Butylene Glycol. Mix well. In a separate vessel, weigh the Phase C and begin heating to 80° – 85°C. Mix until all the waxes are completely melted and dissolved. When Phase C is at 80° – 85°C and uniform, slowly add to Phase A&B with adequate mixing. Mix for 15 minutes and begin slow cooling. Continue mixing the batch with a good agitation. When batch begins to thicken, switch to side wiper or paddle mixing. Continue cooling to 25°C When batch is at room temperature, stored in appropriate containers.Notes:
