Preparation:
With rapid mixing, slowly sift in HEC. Mix rapidly for approx. 45 minutes until hydrated. Neutralize Phase B with sodium hydroxide solution and mix until uniform gel forms (about another ˜45 minutes). Add Phase C ingredients one at a time mixing until uniform between additions. Adjust pH to 4.0-4.5 using Lactic Acid (Phase D). *Available from Brenntag North America
