Nourishing Argan Oil Cream

SeraShine® EM 802 is not only an excellent hair conditioning agent; it also conditions and softens skin for a luxurious feel. Emulsifying Argan Oil allows for more stable formulations, and a high level of oil can be added without discolouring the final product.

Preparation:

• Add the ingredients of Phase A to the vessel and heat to 80 – 85°C. • In a separate vessel, mix the ingredients of Phase B whilst heating to 80 – 85°C. When both phases are at 80 – 85°C, add B to A whilst stirring. • Once homogenous, allow to cool to 50°C. When at 50°C, homogenise until white and smooth. Return to the stirrer and allow to cool to 40°C. • Once below 40°C, add the rest of the ingredients in order, stirring well between additions. • Check pH and viscosity.

Appearance: Viscous, white cream Viscosity @ 25°C: 20000 - 30000cP (Brookfield RVT, Sp5, 10rpm) pH @ 25°C: 6.5 – 7.5
