Preparation:
Method:
- Using a high speed mechanical stirring add Phase A and fully disperse in water.
- Phase A was heated to 70oC with constant stirring.
- In a side vessel Phase B was mixed and heated to 70oC until melted and uniform
- Using homogenisation phase B was added to phase A and shear mixed for 2-3 mins.
- With continuing homogenisation, phase C was added and shear-mixed for a further 1-2 minutes until the emulsion was viscous, smooth and shiny .
- The emulsion was cooled to ambient temperature with constant stirring.
