Preparation:

Add 1 to a secondary vessel, start mixing, add 2, heat to 90°C, remove heat, add 3, and mix this water phase until homogeneous and clear. Add 4 – 9 to tertiary vessel, start center-stir (prop) mixing, add 10 & 11 while heating to 75°C, and, when homogeneous, add 12 & 13 to this oil phase. Transfer 30% of water phase to the main vessel, start mixing, and add 14. Adjust batch temperature to 65°C, and then switch to homogenization and slowly add oil phase (4 – 13). When emulsion is fully formed, remove from heat and slowly add balance of water phase (1 – 3), switching back to prop mixing. Prepare a homogeneous preblend of 15 & 16 and add when main vessel contents are at 50°C or cooler. Add 17 to the remainder of the water phase (1 – 3) and when uniform, add this water phase to the emulsion. When smooth, add 18, mixing until fully incorporated; then add 19, and when again smooth and homogeneous, replace lost water. When finished product is uniform and smooth, perform final quality assurance checks and package product
