in-cosmetics Global has announced that Johnson & Johnson Innovation is launching Flash Cosmetics Pitch, a new opportunity for early stage start-ups with game-changing, transformative cosmetic science or beauty technology innovations to apply for an opportunity to pitch their innovation.
The event will take place in London on 4 April from 3.00 pm until 5.30 pm
Applications are now being accepted, and shortlisted companies will be invited to pitch their ideas to an exclusive panel of judges from Johnson & Johnson Innovation’s team of R&D and business experts live at the event. The pitching initiative is specifically looking for innovations that fit into six categories – anti-aging, devices, digital beauty, microbiome, naturals and personalisation.
Flash Cosmetics Pitch is open to start-up cosmetic companies from across the world and provides a fantastic opportunity to present their new ideas to a range of industry experts and gain visibility for them. The start-up that delivers the most scientifically impressive pitch will be awarded a financial contribution of €5,000 and mentorship from Johnson & Johnson Innovation experts to help develop their idea further.

Applications for the new Flash Cosmetics Pitch close on Friday, 24 March 2017, with successful entrants notified 28 March 2017. The selected start-ups will pitch their innovations to Johnson & Johnson Innovation during in-cosmetics Global at London’s ExCeL on 4 April, with the winner to be announced at the event’s awards evening on 5 April.
