Evonik has launched Tego Betain P 50 C (INCI: Cocamidopropyl Betaine), a novel concentrated surfactant based on RSPO certified sustainable palm kernel oil.
Due to its exceptional thickening performance, it provides an improved cost/performance ratio compared to standard CAPBs. Furthermore, the 38% active betaine is easy to process and delivers generous foam combined with a pleasant skin-feel.
The predominantly renewable, RSPO-certified palm-based feedstock and the high product purity of the preservative-free Tego Betain P 50 C support a more environmentally conscious approach in the cosmetic industry.
