in-cosmetics Korea is the new personal care ingredients show in Korea where 150+ international suppliers will showcase their products to cosmetic manufacturers and distributors.
Senior decision makers and technical experts will attend to source ingredients and benefit from the free educational programme highlighting newly launched ingredients, innovative formulation concepts, consumer insights and personal care trends. Visitor registration for the first ever in-cosmetics Korea is now live (avoiding a US$10 fee if registering at the show).
South Korea has a reputation for being one of the most innovative cosmetic industries in the world and consequently is a region that is often the starting-point for new cosmetic trends. As a result, South Korea’s cosmetic market provides fertile ground for global personal care ingredient suppliers. Proof of this can be found in Korea’s cosmetic ingredient imports, which jumped by 20% to US$224 million in 2014. The country’s appeal is also demonstrated by the number of exhibitors who have now signed up for in-cosmetics Korea. Indeed, 62% of the 150+ companies scheduled to appear at Coex from 15 to 16 June will be international – with the largest contingents hailing from China (15% of the total), France (13%) and the US (6%). Among these, leading ingredient suppliers from around the world include Akzo Nobel, Clariant, Dow Corning, DSM, Evonik, Lubrizol and Shin-Etsu to name but a few.
As well as a wide range of international suppliers, there will also be a very strong presence from South Korean companies such as Activon, Bioland, Caregen, Damy Chemical, KCC and more.
