Cosmetics Cluster UK (CCUK) is to host a webinar on 12 December about how to sell cosmetics in the growing Middle East market.
The event, which takes place at 14:00 GMT, will feature speakers from KAZAconsultancy, RAQAM Consultancy and Santander Corporate & Commercial Bank.
KAZAconsultancy founder Sonia Zaknoune will give a 20-minute presentation titled ‘Getting your brand into the Middle Eastern marketplace: Dos and Don’ts.
Yasser Bayrakdar of RAQAM Consultancy will then speak on cosmetics regulation in the Middle East/North Africa region.
Attendees will also hear from Santander Corporate UAE specialist Monika Kemp about its Navigator platform, which is designed to help businesses to negotiate international markets.
A Q&A session will wrap up the webinar, which is due to finish at 15:30 GMT.
“Many cosmetic brands may be considering entering this potentially lucrative and luxury market. But is it all that it seems?,” said a CCUK spokeswoman.
“What are the complexities and nuances of entering the market and what regulatory hurdles are awaiting? How do you tailor your product and marketing to meet the cultural needs of this region? Is price an issue?,” she added.
“In this webinar we will help answer some of these questions and provide their tips to help brands to avoid pitfalls before they embark on costly export campaigns.”
