TRI-K launches rebonding protein technology for hair care

TRI-K Industries (1P110) has launched EverBond, a rebonding protein technology that repairs and protects damaged hair.

The ingredient works by penetrating the hair cortex, effectively bonding with keratin sites to restore structure and strength to the hair strands.

EverBond offers a range of benefits, including effective repair of disulfide bonds; repairing damaged, bleached hair to reduce breakage; protection against heat styling and chemical treatments; and fortifying hair strands.

“We are excited to introduce EverBond to the market,” said technical marketing manager Kumpal Mehta.

“This ingredient is a natural, science-backed breakthrough in the category of hair bond repair. There is a clear need in the market for ingredients that repair broken hair bonds, especially for consumers using chemical lightening treatments.

“EverBond is not only highly effective, but it is a natural alternative to competing bonding technologies on the market.”

The US company has also launched TRIcare CG, which it is calling a microbiome-friendly skin care hero.

TRIcare CG is an amino acid-based multifunctional ingredient that allows formulators not only to update controversial preservative systems but also create formulations that respect the natural skin and scalp microbiome.

TRIcare CG is more than just a product protection ingredient; it is a true skin care hero.

Key benefits include: helps regulate sebum production, addressing excess shine and oiliness; targets acne and dandruff-causing organisms; aids in product preservation; gentle on both skin and scalp; environmentally friendly and produced via a green chemistry process; works well in rinse-offs and leave-ons.
