With 30 years’ experience in preservation Dr. Straetmans developed alternative concepts which are known as Dermosoft® multifunctional antimicrobials and employed in hundreds of products throughout the cosmetic industry.
Furthermore, thanks to this extensive experience, Dr. Straetmans developed a new line of preservatives under the name Verstatil®, introducing into the market safe, economic and efficient preservative blends.
Today, a whole range of functional raw materials such as PEG-free vegetable-based emulsifiers and solubilisers, oil components, natural antioxidants and chelators as well as conditioning agents, marketed under the brand names dermofeel®, symbio® or Amylomer® complete the product range of Dr. Straetmans. Most products derive from natural, sustainable resources and are used in the main brands of certified natural cosmetics. The well-equipped application lab is continuously developing new formulations for cutting edge natural or conventional cosmetic products.
