Dow Corning will introduce two new industry-leading product technologies and its latest beauty care formulation kits at in-cosmetics 2015 in Barcelona (stand no.7E60).
The new innovations will include a silicone fluid for hair care that combines superior frizz control, stylability and a natural feel, as well as a breakthrough polymer with an enhanced sensory experience and unique rheology for a range of skin care and cosmetic formulations. Both products will be on display in the show’s popular Innovation Zone.
The new liquid silicone blend will be the topic of a Dow Corning Innovation Seminar on Tuesday, 14 April at 2:30 p.m. in Theatre 1, presented by Jason Vogel, Dow Corning’s Beauty Care application engineer. Further, as part of the Innovation Zone, Dow Corning will also feature a special demonstration of the new blend on 15 April at 2:00 p.m.
Dow Corning will also debut the third edition of its renowned Trends Lab programme for skin and hair care. Titled ‘You are Unique’, Trends Lab III focuses on the importance of individual expression and addresses four major trends, including Authenticity, Express Yourself, Do it Yourself and Men are Unique Too!
Dow Corning will also be launching two new trends-driven formulation kits at its booth. The first kit will showcase unique water-based, leave-in hair care formulations that deliver new textures and forms, while the second kit will leverages the company’s silicone film formers to provide skin-tightening formulations for lifting and firming the face and neck area.
The company’s third Trends Lab programme and the introduction of these two new kits underscore Dow Corning’s commitment to stay ahead of lifestyle changes through intensive research and provide valuable insights – and targeted formulations – to the industry.
