July 2010
Univar is set to expand its business in North Africa with entities in Algeria, Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia which will service an expanded agreement with Dow Corning to sell products in these territories.

The move will strengthen their personal care and household & industrial cleaning businesses in the region. “This project is a fantastic opportunity to further strengthen Univar’s personal care and household & industrial cleaning businesses. We hope that other key suppliers will be enthusiastic to work with us in this geography,” said Matthew Ottaway, supplier director personal care EMEA. “Univar operates as one company offering the same quality services and products across North Africa as it does in Europe and North America. Customers will benefit from local sales and customer services that are of the same level as those in the rest of Univar. They will benefit from the full support and expertise of the European teams and the Brussels-based laboratory.”
