November 2009
Inspired by research on the mechanism of autophagy carried out in the field of Neurology, SILAB research introduces CELLDETOX®, a precursory active extracted from yeast. CELLDETOX® boosts the autophagy system: it stimulates the formation of autophagosomes, responsible for sequestering altered cell constituents, and delivers them to lysosomal degradation.

CELLDETOX® reinforces the cell detoxification process: it reduces the level of oxidised proteins and peroxidised lipids. By noticeably smoothing facial lines and illuminating skin complexion, CELLDETOX® reduces the visible signs of age and restores natural radiance to intoxicated and tired skin. CELLDETOX® is recommended for detoxifying and repairing skincare. Independent French company, SILAB is recognised as a specialist of biological active ingredient engineering. A true petrolatum alternative
Until antibiotics conquered the world, the only possible method for curing gangrene was maggot therapy, except for amputation of the extremities. Maggots were applied to the wound and would eat the necrotic tissue, including the organisms that were responsible for that.

Skin defences boosted by grapefruit extract
Humans are constantly exposed to harmful foreign chemicals and materials from exogenous and endogenous sources. As a result, defence mechanisms have evolved to protect against toxin overload.1 Cells are under constant threat from metabolic waste products and xenobiotics. The formation of phase I and phase II metabolism mobilises and excretes these mainly lipophilic toxins.
